Common Questions

About Bail Bonds

What is a bail bond?

A Bail Bond is an arbitrary, (something decided by a judge rather than by a law or statute), financial guarantee to the court that the defendant will appear in every court appearance as the court sets. Simply put, the bail is to secure the appearance of the defendant in court. Failure of the defendant to comply with the conditions of the court could result in warrants issued for the defendant.

How is the bail amount set?

Bail is set by case to case bases. In Oklahoma judges are responsible for setting the bail amount. However, the Oklahoma Constitution does state that bail shall not be punitive, meaning it shall not be set so high that the bail is a punishment in itself.

How do I get a bail bond?

Contact one of our licensed associates at any hour, any day of the week, and they will confidentially discuss your individual situation and assist with all of your bail bond needs.
